What's next?

If you've made it this far, you've read a lot of stuff. Much of it is confusing. Thank you for persevering. It will be worth your time.

So you've noticed that none of this info is coming through the Board. That's right, its a private community movement. The Board has been informed about our legal issues for the past year and they've shown virtually no interest. Actions tell all, and the Board has done nothing.

The lawsuit has been going on for almost four years now. In March, the Board finally obtained legal advice: Reynolds didn't like what he heard and so he has said that we should ignore our lawyer and wait for the outcome of his lawsuit. That's a blatant conflict of interest and an example of self-dealing that demands recusal, by the way. Now the Board sought a new lawyer.

The Board has been notified in no uncertain terms that the business of the GWLUA has expired and that all its actions since 2014 are legally invalid. They apparently don't care, as they are continuing to behave as they always have. Community members and our (former) lawyer have told the Board that they are no longer a legal entity, but they just voted to continue “business as usual.” They are apparently willing to violate the law! This is a breach of one of the most basic rules of board behavior and duty.

Since it is now clear that the Board won't do anything for the community, we have to do it for ourselves.

We need every community member to demand that things happen. You can help by encouraging other members to review these pages and decide for themselves what they should do.
